During Art week, KS1 were inspired by The Dot by Peter Reynolds and by the Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama who is sometimes called the “princess of polkadots”.

Lucky Attlee won the Red Nose Day prize draw!

His sister, Sylvie from Beetle Class collected it on his behalf.

Let’s look at how her class celebrated Red Nose Day…

Beetles looked at the development of the Red Nose so decided to create our own Red Nose on some yummy biscuits. The theme for Red Nose Day this year was Mr Men, therefore we tried to design our own Mr Man using our own personality traits. There were some very creative ideas!

This half-term has been jam-packed with exciting activities and our children have been working really hard – as always! Take a look at them enjoying their learning – bear hunts and food tasting in Early Years, music appreciation in KS1, magnetic games, data sorting, art and internet safety in KS2.

Look at some of the excellent magnetic games that have been designed, made and evaluated in LKS2.

We had great fun playing them!

We’ve had a great season so far with the school football league, girls football league as well as our winter futsal competition!

Pupil Power organised a fab non-uniform day and raised an amazing £508 for Children in Need!
